Jatin Dalal, the CFO of Wipro, steps down, and is succeeded by Aparna Iyer.
Wipro has announced that its CEO, Jatin Dalal, has resigned to pursue other opportunities. Dalal, who has been with the IT services provider for over two decades, will be replaced by Aparna Iyer, a 20-year veteran who most recently held the position of senior vice president and CFO of Wipro's cloud services unit. Dalal will remain until November 30.
Dalal, as CFO in 2015, collaborated with CEO Thierry Delaporte to manage the company's surge in demand for digital services during the pandemic.
Iyer has played a crucial role in Wipro's recent overhaul of its financial operations, according to Delaporte. According to Delaporte, she has “played an important part in our financial strategy and planning, investment programs, and transformation initiatives.”
