The Core i9-14900K is the flagship processor, offering a 6GHz clock speed, making it suitable for enthusiasts and power users. The Core i7-14700K, a key addition, has 20 cores and 28 threads, featuring four additional efficient cores for improved multi-threaded workloads. These processors are designed to be compatible with existing 600/700-series motherboards and deliver up to a 23% increase in gaming performance. Intel is also introducing its XTU AI Assist feature for AI-guided overclocking, and support for DDR5 XMP with speeds exceeding 8,000 megatransfers/second. The processors also offer enhanced connectivity, with support for Wi-Fi 6/6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless technologies, and Thunderbolt 4 and Thunderbolt 5.
