Smartwatches are constantly transforming, and OnePlus is ready to embark on one of its biggest leaps as it introduces the 2nd generation edition of the OnePlus Watch. According to recent information, this device is going to be unveiled at MWC 2024 On February 26-February 29, this unveiling will present improved hardware engineering and a visible change in the OS system.

The OnePlus Watch 2's anticipated transition to Google’s Wear OS is one of the most remarkable features, as opposed to its previous generation which used a custom operating system. This transition promises a smoother and more dynamic smartwatch. Of course, there is no information about whether it will run on Wear OS 3 or the latest version of this platform - Wear OS 4, so we can only assume that OnePlus's watch is going to offer its customers all the necessary functions.

Design and Specification

The smartwatch is said to have a bigger circular AMOLED screen, which has been rumored to have an increased size of 1.43 inches—larger than the one displayed by its previous version which was only 1.39 inches in diameter. Apart from that, the rumours show a raised area on right-hand side featuring two hardware buttons which make it look better and also provide functionality.

The OnePlus Watch 2 promises to operate with the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip under its hood in line with the Google Pixel Watch version two. This processor choice indicates concentrating on providing the most efficient performance.
