This activity has resulted in more than 2000 apps verifying across these countries to be approved.
In India, apps like Digilocker and mAadhaar are the official guidelines fixed by the government. These are the ones that have been marked with the newly approved logo.
The new icon takes center stage beneath the app name in the Play Store listings and even appears in 'Top Charts' which users may easily see it. The finger swipe on the badge reveals a notification confirming the app is recognized and verified by Google.
