Earth Could Be Hit By These 5 Asteroids Monitoring By NASA
NASA is monitoring the five asteroids speeding towards the Earth's planet, but none of them is imposing any immediate threat and are expected to fly by Earth. Asteroids and other comets when passing with the earth’s surface offer a great opportunity for astronomers and researchers to closely study their components which will further provide us with more details about the origin story of the Universe.
The International Space Agency NASA is continuously monitoring those asteroids with the help of its Jet Propulsion Laboratory which is sharing vital information with the world.
Based on the information provided by the laboratory of NASA we are listing the five asteroids coming in the path of earth.
Asteroid 2020 RL
The first asteroid among the five asteroids approaching the earth is called 2020 RL which is expected to be closest on August 27 at a distance of 46.8 lakh km. The size of this asteroid is about the size of an aeroplane about 110 feet. The impacts of the asteroid passing through the Earth are monitored by the NASA Team and also its impact including the dynamics of objects within the solar system will be known in this research.
Asteroid 2021 RA10
The next one is the Asteroid 2021 RL which is about 92 feet and is also as big as an aircraft this one is also expected to be as close as to the earth's surface around 26.1 lakh km on August 28. Astronomers keep tracking their path to make sure they secure their path and impact on Earth. This kind of flying object helps scientists to read the characteristics and behaviour of asteroids and helps them to establish planet defence strategies.
Asteroids 2012 SX49
This Asteroid is roughly the size of a house which has a diameter of 64 feet. This 2012 SX 49 will make the closest make on August 29 at a distance of 42.9 lakh Km. The distance of this asteroid is as safe as others are and the characteristics of that will help the agency to know the potential threat.
Asteroid 2016 RJ20
As the different Asteroids are passing near the earth's surface and planet this Asteroid 2016 RJ20 is one of them that will pass in the path of Earth at a distance of 69.9 lakh km and this will be the closest on August 30. As far as they know there is no risk associated with this external force.
Asteroid 2021 JT
This external force material named Asteroid 2021 JT is perhaps the smallest Asteroids in all the five asteroids that would possible contact the earth. This asteroid will be at a safe distance of 63.3 km which will help scientists to unveil its characteristics.
Impact on Earth
All these asteroids do not pose any threat to Earth as they are passing at the safest distance from the Earth. Whenever such objects pass away close to Earth providing enough information about the solar system and space projects.
