The tension between Brazil and Elon Musk kept increasing as the country's telecoms regulator threatened to sanction his satellite broadband company Starlink when its top court announced the decision to ban social media platform X from the country.

The matter involves the social media platform X, earlier called Twitter owned by Elon Musk facing the allegations of Brazil's top government agencies that it has allowed postings of hate messages and fake news about Brazil's electronic voting system that thrashes Brazil's democracy.

"The Brazilian judiciary may have given an important signal that the world is not obliged to put up with Musk's far-right ideology just because he is rich," is the statement given by Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

The tech owner of X Elon Musk given the response to Brazil's court move to freeze Startlink's accounts for possible use to pay fines owned by X, said he will also go for seeking a seizure of the country's assets but did not mention how.

The Brazilian authorities said Starlink will face the revocation of its license to operate in the country due to the noncompliance with the rules and regulations of the country. Apart from this Atur Coimbra, Anatel Commissioner revealed that the authorities are inspecting all Brazilian telecom operators to make sure they have shut down Musk's messaging platform.

Starlink stood against the order of the Brazilian Top Court and also did not submit the fine due to which the country has dropped Starlink's account for due fine of failing to obey judicial orders.

The ban could not hold the platform to provide access to its users and users of Brazil visited the platform using the VPN and more.

For platform X, Brazil is the sixth largest market where the users are about 21.5 million as recorded by Statista in April.
