Reliance Industries Ltd has featured its JioPhone Prima 2 with a 2.4-inch curved screen and keypad. The model is equipped with a Qualcomm chipset, and a 2,000mAh battery featuring both rear and front cameras. It has been unveiled in India, available via Amazon at Rs. 2,999. 

This mobile runs on KaiOS, with a budget 4G feature, and includes apps like YouTube, Facebook, and Google Assistant. Its additional ones include JioCinema and JioChat while allowing direct video calls without any need for a third-party app. 

What makes it a must-buy device?

• The phone supports UPI and scans QR Payments with JioPay.
• Its color is Luxe Blue.
• The device supports 23 different languages.
• It is paired with 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal storage.
• The handset measures 12.34x5.55x1.51cm, while its weight is 120 grams.
• It has a 3.5mm audio jack.
• It even has a microSD card slot, with expandable memory of 128GB.

Consequently, the model is equipped with an LED torch, FM radio service, and other validations that make it succeed the JioPhone Prima 4G model, introduced in November 2023. It also supports entertainment services like JioSaavn, or communication and social media access. There can be direct video calling, without any external video chat application installation. The front camera specializes in 0.3MP (VGA), to support direct video calls.

The phone has a leather-like finish and a round edge design as the back cover. It will soon be available at JioMart, and Reliance Digital as well. Thus, an all-time usable model, without touchscreen features, is excellent to gift to elder generations unfamiliar with fingerprint-controllable models. 

When Jio launched its first Jio Mobile Phone

Reliance Jio InfoComm, an Indian telecom operator and substitute for Reliance Industry launched its services in September 2016. Its Jio phone has a 4G and VoLTE-enabled Reliance feature that works on the same network. The fancy reason to purchase all reliance products is it has a free hardware system and expandable storage.
