Microsoft’s Edge browser does not require the extensive business share that the soon-to-be-retired Internet Explorer browser once required, but the organization has remained busy joining characteristics ever since it passed to Google’s Chromium browser engine the previous year. The most modern addition to the browser has now started demanding users to turn back to Bing as the browser’s default search engine.

Nearly everyone practices Google for exploring the web, and several users who download browsers other than Chrome tend to switch to their default search engine to Google. Though, Microsoft Edge has presently begun demanding users on version 91 claiming users to turn back to the supported browser setting.

As per the XDA, which detected the information along with users on the Microsoft Edge & Windows 10 subreddits - some of them believed it was a bug that made the information to be revealed. Still, the statement declares that a Redditor who pretends to be a Windows Insider MVP demonstrates the original reason why users are observing this message.

The message prompts users to “use Microsoft supported browser settings” which will reset the initial search engine to Bing, but they also have the advantage to choose “don’t update your browser settings”.

The prompt to shift behind to only an individual choice may also be the browser’s process of attempting to establish more users to switch to its engine.
