ISRO's space graciosity : ISRO put together to launch Nano satellite for Bhutan
ISRO had showed their brotherhood towards Bhutan by launching their Nano satellite which is recently developed by the Bhutan scientists with help of PSLV mission which is under way.
In recent times Scientific Secretary of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and Director of Department of Department of Information Technology and Telecom, Bhutan inked enforcing arrangement concerning cooperation on the development of a common small satellite on September 24, 2021, in a virtual signing form. The form was attended by Ambassador of India to Bhutan , Ambassador of Bhutan to India , and other elderly officers from the Government of India and Royal Government of Bhutan.
As ISRO described their upcoming plans on observation on earth with help of Earth Observational Satellites ( EOS) . These satellites were being launched by PSLV ,these 2 satellites EOS-4 ( Risat-1A) & EOS-6 (Oceonsat-3) are launched with help of PSLV. The third satellite was EOS-2 (Microsat) which is going to be launched with help of India's first developmental flight of Small Satellite Launched Vehicle (SSLV).
The official information explained that ' the India is going to launch Bhutan's satellite Bhutan-sat in the upcoming PSLV mission which had Oceonsat-3 as a main payload. In this mission India is going to launch Image Observational Satellite which was flourished by an Bengaluru based PIXXEL. Indian Space voyage disports India's milestones in space technology conducted by the Indian embassy in Bhutan in part of India's 75th year of Independence--Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
ISRO chairman K . Sivan had mentioned that ' this is India's contribution in developing Bhutan's Space Program which is give the expansion in diplomacy capabilities with other space agencies under our P.M Shree Narendra Modi. We are contributing with technical help to Bhutan's Nano satellite which furtherly aided for observational purposes . It will be launched by PSLV which is carrying EOS-6 . PIXXEL satellite was also launched under this mission. '
the ISRO had desires to launch these observational satellites in the last quarter of 2021, all the technical and external factors should support to launch this prestigious mission. it may impact if it is not launched under suitable situations. Satish Dhawan Space Research center is place where PSLV integration took place but due to some internal technical and software issues arose in the ( Risat-1) satellite. The mission will be into action as soon as the glitches with the satellite will be resolved.
India and Bhutan had mutual bond in space collaboration with a ground Earth station for South Asia Satellite being established in Thimphu , which is Bhutan's capital during PM Modi's August 2019 Bhutan visit. Ground Earth station was constructed with the aid of ISRO. In 2017 India inaugurated the South Asia satellite project which include all countries except Pakistan as a part of it. Under this project, New Delhi had provided to increase bandwidth on an additional transponder on the satellite for Bhutan as a gift as per the country's requirement.
