Realme 9i mockups have surfaced online, providing smartphone fans a glimpse of what to anticipate from the device, which is expected to ship in Q1 2022. The Chinese business has yet to reveal the Realme 9i smartphone, but idea mockups hint that the replacement to the Realme 8i smartphone will feature recognisable features, such as a rear camera module that bears a striking resemblance to the Realme GT Neo 2 latest flagship.

According to ThePixel.vn's (in Vietnamese) Realme 9i renderings, the new smartphone will include a triple back camera arrangement with an LED flash, which will be housed in a camera module that looks identical to the Realme GT Neo 2 smartphone. The Realme logo in the lower left corner of the screen serves as minimal branding on the rear of the phone. A single speaker can be seen at the bottom of the picture, to the right of the USB Type-C connection.

The phone's back part appears to feature curved edges that integrate into the phone's left and right spines. There seems to be no fingerprint sensor on the backside of the device, as per the models. This means it might be on the power button, or the business could integrate an in-display scanner. . A punch-hole camera is situated in the top-right corner of the screen on the front of the phone.

According to previous sources, the Realme 9i would include a MediaTek Helio G90T SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. A 6.5-inch full-HD+ display and a 64-megapixel quad-camera configuration are reportedly expected on the smartphone. However, no information on the Realme 9i has been released by the firm. 

The Realme 9i is likely to have better specifications than its predecessor, the Realme 8i, which was released in September. The Realme 8i is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G96 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. A 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,412 pixels) display is included with the Realme 8i. A 64-megapixel back camera and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera are included in the smartphone. The Realme 8i is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging.
